There are several ways to find websites that have a high page rank, but we will cover only one of the simplest ones so you can continue here for the time being. First of all, I personally recommend using the Firefox browser; it is simply better than Internet Explorer, and you have access to thousands of add-on to improve your work or leisure navigation.

Search, download and install the Google toolbar. I use it in Firefox all the time, and one of the small features is the Page Rank indicator in the toolbar. Simply visit a website and you will see a small green bar if the site has a page rank. Scroll over it with the mouse and you get a score of 10. Easy. If you do not see the Page Rank indicator, right-click on the Google toolbar> Options on the Google Toolbar> Tools> check the Page Rank> Save box.

With this tool in your bag, you can search the websites or blogs that are most relevant to your niche, and check the site's page rank instantly. But as I said, do not discard the little ones! Each website starts from scratch, and a backlink you get today on a PR0 website could become a link to a PR4 or 5 websites as the site grows.

Now, let's not forget that PR is just one factor to consider when building your backlinks. Sure, it's a great indicator of how respected a website is by Google. But think about relevance too. It is not good to shoot a link from a PR5 page if that page is not related to your website. Then apply a little common sense.

Download Firefox & install > Download Google Toolbar & install > Search for web pages or blogs relevant to your niche > Look in your toolbar - check the Page Rank score > If you like it, go for a backlink!
